My name is Ger Trude, i am a 1979 Mini clubman 1275 GT. I was purchased by my new owner in January 2009.
My body was in very poor shape, and so far i have had an
extensive cosmetic surgery courtesy of British Heritage replacement
panels.
At present i am waiting for two new wings and a bonnet, hopefully my
body will be restored rust free by April and maybe a little paint in
July.
My new owner has got carried away and has decided that i won't see daylight untill 2012.
Eventually my engine size will be increased,lightened,balanced and will
be able to breath very freely hopefully by a pair of big 1.5's,a good
quality stage 3 head with a polished stainless large RC40 single box.
My torque multiplier will be straight cut so i may whine a little, and my
interior will be cosy fitted using the best leather and carpet.
My underside will be fully stone chipped,painted and my suspension powder coated.
At night, i will be able to see by having eye correction courtesy of
four super cibie oscars and will grip the road by having my camber
altered, my wheels enlarged,covered by a set of group 4/5's, held
altogether using a set of high-lo's and copious amounts of spax !
